Yesterday Sony reported that they found a file on the SOE server with Anonymous in it’s name and the words “We are legion” in it’s contents, they then suspected Anonymous or associates of Anonymous were guilty of the security breach. Today Anonymous has responded to these claims stating that they didn’t do it. In their statement sent to The Guardian, Anonymous says;

Remember when I said I wouldn’t be talking about Sony again? Well I kina lied….sorry – business as usual.
Things are only going downhill for Sony. First of all let me define the word ‘Subpoena‘ via Dictionary.com:
[suh-pee-nuh, suhb-] –noun
‘the usual writ for the summoning of witnesses or the submission of evidence, as records or documents, before a court or other deliberative body.’

So I just happen to see Myspace and thought I’d at least update my profile cause I haven’t since back in 2010. So I go on Myspace and check the login to the mid-right of the page and this is what I saw.
so at that point I was like ….. waittt a minute is that Facebook Connect??? O.o

I’m not really sure if that is such a good idea or not; it’s like selling a Pepsi in a Coca Kola case, it’s like CNN showing a video that a BBC reporter reported… it’s like putting Dell parts in a computer built in 1997 causing it to explode.
There are positives though, and it is very possible the positives outweigh the negatives as they can pull traffic from Facebook and use their well developed social networking system to exploit them. There is no illegality with regards to the use of Facebook connect on websites as long as they follow Facebook’s TOU.
…anyway that’s just what I think.
