Nintendo’s new console the Wii U has just been announced. It’s coming in 2012 and yes, it is ready for the HD.
It’s controller boasts a 6.2-inch touchscreen display, a microphone, a front facing camera, stylus, gyroscope, accelerometer, dual analog controls, and enough buttons to put the meaning in your search query, ‘Hardcaore games for Nintendo'(2 shoulder buttons and 2 triggers) – and yes, it’s ready for the HD.
Nintendo has totally focused on the controller as the prime for it’s new console and also stated that the controller was “not designed to be a portable game machine.” The controller is compatible with ALL current accessories and software and it’s ready for the HD.
IBM & The Wii U Console
IBM is epic and as they have previously done for the Wii, they are now again providing the processing solution for the Nintendo Wii U. As detailed on Engadget; the console packs a 45nm processor with “a lot” of embedded DRAM and the same technology found in Watson.
There were no specifics detailed but lets just sick with ‘it’s bloddy fast’.
